A Christmas Note From Rose...

My goodness! Here we are again at the tail end of another year. For some reason 2009 flew by at an alarming rate but then when I see all the activities that were packed into it no wonder it passed so quickly!
Our clinics saw folks coming to visit us from all over Oregon, Washington and Alaska. As well as our events here at the farm, I held clinics in the Portland area, down in southern Oregon at the lovely Farwood Horse Park just outside Medford and of course made my annual jaunt to Palmer, Alaska.
New for 2009 on the cross-country course was a water jump that will be expanding in size this winter as well as a few other XC jumps. More jumps are in the works for the 2010 season. We had some gorgeous new “theme” stadium jumps painted by our industrious 2009 working students Ashley Powers, Zoë Brock and Tatiana Mattos as well as Caitlin Rose (our first and most illustrious working student!).
2010 will see us holding only 4 clinics at the farm… May’s Memorial Day clinic, June’s Adult & Young Rider, August’s Jump into Dressage clinic and September’s Labour Day clinic. I shall be making two trips to Alaska in July as well as holding clinics in other areas of the state. Some clinics here at THEC are already fully booked, so if you have been thinking of joining us, now is the time to get those registrations in!
Due to the challenging economic times, in appreciation of folks traveling all the way out here to ride with us, we are offering a couple of “specials”. Book your clinic spot and send in your deposit by January 31, 2010, and you will receive $50 off the clinic price. Bring a friend who has never ridden with us before and receive an additional $50 off! See our schedule and cost page for more details. We have our THEC calendars for sale at $15 each which includes postage. Gift certificates are also available.
Many thanks again to all of you who made the jaunt to THEC in 2009. We cannot tell you how much we appreciate your patronage and look forward to seeing you in 2010. Have a happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year!
Stay warm and stay well,
Rose & Darrell
